This contract is an agreement between Raining Cats 'n' Dogs and the following named prospective foster home:*

I understand that Raining Cats 'n' Dogs is an animal rescue organization dedicated to reducing the needless euthanasia of companion animals. I understand that occasionally circumstances may arise in which an animal must be euthanized due to health, poor quality of life, and/or behaviors that pose a risk to people or other animals. *

I agree to provide proper shelter, food, fresh water, training, and appropriate medical care for all animals under my supervision.*

I agree to bring the animals under my supervision to scheduled adoption events.*

If fostering CATS -- I agree to keep foster cats either indoors or in a sheltered, outdoor enclosure. I understand that declawing is a form of mutilation and agree never to recommend this procedure or a tendonectomy on any animal.*

If fostering DOGS -- I agree not to tie or chain foster dogs, but to provide an enclosed, fenced area with shelter.*

I agree to comply with all state and local laws regarding animal welfare, including leash laws.*

I agree to allow a representative of Raining Cats 'n' Dogs to inspect the premises annually, or as necessary.*

I agree to return this animal to Raining Cats 'n' Dogs if I am no longer able to provide foster care to this animal. In addition, I agree not to sell, give, or otherwise transfer this animal to any person or agency without proper written permission from Raining Cats 'n' Dogs.*

I agree that I will not hold Raining Cats 'n' Dogs or it's representatives for any damages which the animal may do to any person or property.*

I agree to release this animal to Raining Cats 'n' Dogs if it is determined I have not complied with the conditions of foster care stated herein. In addition, I agree to pay all reasonable attorney fees if Raining Cats 'n' Dogs is required to take legal action to enforce this contract.*

I have read and understand the conditions for foster care. By signing and dating below, I am agreeing to comply with all terms of this contract.
