Rhea has beautiful bright green eyes. She is shy at first with strangers and flinches and hisses a little when you first put your hand out to pet her or if something startles her but is quickly very friendly and affectionate once she gets to know you and realizes you pose no threat. We can only imagine the terrible life she had prior to us rescuing her. She can be quite insecure and change is hard on her so a quiet adoptive home with a regular routine that is willing to give her time to adjust to her new surroundings, would be best. Your patience will be rewarded 10-fold once she settles in! She absolutely LOVES being petted and softly talked to and will purr (what a motor!:))and even drool a bit in pure bliss. She will give you lots of kitty kisses and make biscuits with her paws and do rollies on her back. What a gentle sweetheart! We aren't able to upload videos of her on her webpage but would be happy to share them by email so you can see just how sweet and affectionate Rhea can be. Rhea is a quiet and mellow girl but likes to play too and is a foster home favorite.
