Nelson is a handsome 1.5 year old, about 47 pound, and full grown He's a great house dog, not hyper but has energy, he loves to go to the dog park and play with other dogs. Seems to prefer the females over males. He's fully house trained and fine being left alone in a secure yard while people work. He does not chew anything up, not a barker either. He lives with middle aged women who rescued him, she loves him very much but wants someone that can give him a better home with a big fenced yard and a buddy to play with. Someone that loves to go hiking an outdoors person that loves nature like he does. Cat's with caution.

Nelson knows some commands and is good on leash, travels well too. An overall great companion. He has not been around kids so maybe kids over 12? Visiting kids will be fine or if an older child that wants a best friend. Very calm for his age, highly intelligent and his re-call is fantastic!
