Senior girl would really like to have her own forever home in her golden years. She is very sweet, spayed & heartworm negative.
Possibly all border collie according to the vet, or possibly a mix (maybe aussie? she puts front paw sideways when laying down sometimes, like our Aussie used to do). She is too overweight to manage stairs to a porch.
This dog’s name is “Nip” and sister’s name was “Tuck” after a TV show named “Nip ‘n Tuck”.) Unfortunately, this girl's owner recently passed away and there is no family to take her now.
Note: Nip would never nip anything. She is very sweet and has a perky gait even though she is very overweight, is good on leash when I walk her --but when unleashed, ignores the ‘come’ command if she would rather go to the back door instead-- I think she spent a great deal of time inside her ground-level home.
Heartworm test last month = negative. Heartworm preventative, given rabies shot and she is already spayed. Being a senior doggie, she needs a little boost in order to climb into the car.
P.S. She has the furriest feet I’ve ever seen on a dog, sort of like a Dr. Seuss character …
