Nick is a neutered 1 year old Australian Sheepdog. He is a bit shy and standoffish of strangers at first but once he gets to know you, he is very happy, loving, and sweet. Nick needs a home with dog-experenced people who are willing to get him enrolled in obedience/puppy training classes as soon as possible and provide opportunities for socialization. Nick is still very puppy-like in that he likes to chew things and nibble on you as any puppy does. Even though Nick is a year old, he has never had an owner that has taught him not to nibble or chew or even provided proper socialization so it's not Nick's fault - he just needs to be taught. Nick wants to learn and please his people. He knows some commands but has more to learn. Nick is very playful and likes other dogs. He does fine with cats with proper introduction. Older children only as Nick has not mastered his manners yet - again, that'll come with training classes. An inside/outside home with fenced yard would be ideal.
