Please help Sammie find a new home!!! Her owner is no longer able to care for her due to circumstances beyond her control and is heartbroken but has to re-home her dog asap.

She is microchipped. She is black but in the sun its blackish red, very beautiful!

She is a very happy dog, eats drinks, poops and pees normal and healthy.

She loves to be outside and is okay with being in outside kennels, but only so long, as she does not go potty in her kennel space. She can tolerate, and in the winter, prefers being inside. She looooovves attention and treats. She can sit, shake, and lay down on command, and I swear she knows exactly what I say to her sometimes. Though she is somewhat of a guard dog. She will bark at cars pulling in to her home, and if she feels threatened by someone, she is prone to nipping them on the back of the ankle. When she was younger she was scared of kids and did bite one, it was my fault though, I didn't know any children when I got her and didn't know to go and socialize her. But I do have to say, she has been around my nephews almost every weekend for the past year and she didn't have any incidents with them, in fact they loved her. She's so/so on other animals. I have not a clue how she would be with a cat, and other adult dogs are not bad for her as long as they aren't too "in your face" .. She can tolerate a little of that and she will nip at other dogs and puppy's for being in her personal space, it sounds horrible but in all reality she hasn't actually bit an excited dog. Her and the neighbors dogs had some definite territory issues. I believe there was one fight between the 3 dogs(neighbors had two) in the past 3 years. But she met a new dog yesterday and she did great!
