My family has beautiful 3 yr female black lab named Maggie that needs a new home. It breaks our hearts but the dog just doesn't fit in our family. She weighs in at about 58 lbs. Her mother was a black lab and father was a yellow lab. Maggie is in need for more time and attention then my family is able to provide. She is the fastest dog in town, extremely energetic and needs some more training. She is current on all shots, monthly flea treatment, monthly heart worm, and is spayed.
Likes- loves exercise. She is a great jogging companion and can run and run and run. Loves chasing the tennis ball.
Dislikes - No real phobias or allergies
Inside/Outside - Outside dog. She is crate trained for sleeping indoors
Cats - We have 2 cats and she is interested in them but would much rather chase a tennis ball.
Training - Maggie still needs training. She has improved however jumping is a habit in need of correction. She is in need of more socialization with other people. Maggie has been around kids her whole life however needs supervision around kids do to jumping.
Commands she knows - Sit."Sit" pointing down with finger
Stay...."wait" with stop hand signal
Release...."free"
To drop the ball.... closed fist "drop"
"Good girl" along with clicker.
She walks pretty well with leash with collar the goes around the snout for control "Holt Brand." She pulls but not excessively.
