Meet Hank, a handsome, 7 year old Cattledog mix. He is a fun, active guy looking for a home where he can be an active partner. For those who know this breed, you will know that this is an ideal age. He is full of action but has none of the puppy craziness that lasts in Cattledogs for the first few years. Hank is polite and ready for adventure.
Hank is smart, as you would expect with this breed, and has had some professional training. He is good on leash and rides nicely in the car. He is also crate trained and house trained. He would be a wonderful walking buddy.
He is all that you would anticipate. He is loyal and looks to his person to engage with him. He does alert when someone comes to the house, so it is helpful if someone has breed experience to know how to thank him for alerting and then ask him to stand down.
Hank is a social guy and enjoys companionship with his people. He is nice with men, women, and even children. He has been around horses and other dogs and does well. He is an affectionate guy who also loves to play. Squeaky toys are a big hit with him.
Hank is ready for his forever home. Breed experience and a vet check are required to adopt Hank.
